It was last summer me and three of my best friends; Linda, Mark and John decided to make a trip with no specified destination. It was a wonderful trip. We got a convertible so we could enjoy the sun on the freeway. We sang lots of our favorite songs, we ate some tuna sandwiches for breakfast, we had lunch at the drive-in and then, when we were entering to Los Angeles, we decided to stay there. This was a good choice, but the sad part is about the hotel.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn. We arrived in the afternoon and got a room for four, it was room 42, a very nice room. Everything was clean and neat. The walls were white, there were beautiful beach paintings on it, the bathroom was immaculate, everything was working well. We were very happy with our room, so got ready to go to the disco and we went to The Green Door. It was fantastic. We danced all night on.
Here is where the disaster part starts. When we returned to the hotel the room door was open, we tried to turn on the light but it didn’t work the bulb needed to be replaced, the bathroom light was the only one working and we could see that the sink was leaking, and the toilet didn’t flush. There were spider webs all about. The walls needed repairing and needed to be painted, the sheets on the bed were stained, and the stains were red, it looked like a horror movie room, the carpet needed to be replaced, it has holes everywhere on it. But at the end it turned out that it was room 24 and not our room 42, it was just a misunderstanding but it was scary.
