Summer Holidays in Hawaii
It lets you wear shorts and skirts, it tans your skin, it makes birds sing and flowers blossom: what could be better than summer? Of course, summer is my favorite season and, since it’s always summer in Hawaii, that’s my favorite place in the world.
I first visited Hawaii during a winter holiday and I absolutely fell in love with it. Its gorgeous beaches, its tall palms and delicious fruit made me feel at some kind of modern paradise in Earth.
I loved it so much, I decided to go back as soon as possible: during summer holidays. Many people tried to warn me: “summer in Hawaii is hard, the temperature is too high, you will not bear it”.
Since flight tickets were cheap and accommodation was even cheaper, I decided I had nothing to lose and I could give it a try. Thank God I did! Summer in Hawaii is unspeakably perfect for me. I do like high temperatures, and I quite dislike crowds of people, so this time of the year is the best for me to visit the island.
Not only were prices lower, but also local residents and workers were in a better mood and more willing to chat, because there weren’t so many clients to serve and satisfy. That summer holiday in Hawaii was the first of many others that followed. Although I have gone back a couple of winters, it’s summer vacations that lead me right to this incredible island to enjoy the best of it.
